Chairman Calo Announces His Resignation from the State Board
Richard Calo, long-time member and Chairman of the State Workforce Investment Board since 2000, announced his resignation from the Board in May 2010 to coincide with his retirement on June 1st as Vice President of Human Resources for IBM. Chairman Calo’s contributions to the work of the Board were hailed by the Governor as well as colleagues on the Board. The new Board Chair has not been announced.
The last meeting of the full Board was December 15, 2010 at the NYS Department of Labor, Meeting Rooms D&E, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. The meeting was recorded for future viewing.
