Ex-Offender Reentry Services

The Department of Labor provides additional services to the business community to assist with hiring the ex-offender and to aid with their reentry into the community.  We provide staff and resources statewide in our One-Stops to assist ex-offenders and their Parole/Probation Officers.

The Federal Bonding Program (FBP) provides fidelity bond insurance coverage for employers who hire high risk jobseekers, including ex-offenders, welfare recipients, those with poor work histories, and youth. Click the link for more information.

The Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) was designed to promote the hiring of individuals who qualify as a member of a target group while simultaneously providing a federal tax credit to employers who hire these individuals.
